West Suburban United Way wishes to welcome three new board members to their Board of Directors.Mike Angus of Cummins NPower, Haydee Nunez of the Adler School, and Tom Vega a college student, who is an active member of the community, have been installed as members of the West Suburban United Way.

“We welcome these outstanding community volunteers, and are looking forward to adding a fresh perspective to our work,” stated Sharon Flaim, West Suburban Board president. “They have already brought so much input to the table in regards to community relations.”

The three represent the towns of Hodgkins and Cicero, which until now were under represented.

We hope to find more people like these to help us with our journey to community impact. We are looking for people, who care about the future and are looking for ways they can make a lasting impact on that future. “Business people and community residents alike are needed for us to continue this important work” said Sharon Alberts, Chief Professional Officer of West Suburban United Way. “We have several opportunities for involvement, on many different levels. We still have some under represented communities, but no matter where you live, your help is needed and appreciated.”
